What's covered.

Terms & conditions of our insurance policy while your goods are in transit and/or in our storage facility:

• Cover attaches once loading of the insured cargo begins, continues during the ordinary course of transit, and ends when the cargo is off-loaded at the place of storage — against fire, collision, overturning of the conveying vehicle, theft following any of these perils, and hijacking (limited to the declared value).
• Cover applies during loading and unloading, provided this is under the direct control and supervision of the insured.
• Cargo stored at any Simply Store site nationally is covered against fire and allied perils, and theft following forcible entry and robbery (restricted to total loss only). Storage is within fully enclosed, secured and guarded premises.
• The policy does not cover rigging or manoeuvring of cargo before loading or after off-loading.
• All premiums and storage charges must be paid up in full for a claim to be valid.
• All claims are subject to a R 750 excess per claim.
